On December 9, 2020, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Education and Training (Education and Training) organized the "Digital transformation seminar in education and training". The workshop was chaired by the Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha and Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung. At this event, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation in education and training, period 2021 - 2025.
Accordingly, the two sides cooperate to implement 7 important contents of the education and training sector; The highlight is the joint development and deployment of the Digital Transformation Ecosystem for the education and training industry. This ecosystem will be suitable for the professional processes of management, teaching, learning, testing, evaluation, and scientific research of the education and training sector; towards the goal of data standardization, connecting and providing data from departments and departments of education with the sector database system of the Ministry of Education and Training which is being implemented.
Through the digital transformation ecosystem for the education industry, each teacher and student will have an identification number. Student ID helps manage all the information of each student from the beginning of school to the end of high school and college. The teacher identifier helps to store information about the regular work and training process of teachers and grassroots managers. Solutions that meet technical regulations, standards, and regulations on data and connectivity, ensuring data connectivity with the ecosystem of the education and training industry; in which the focus includes the education and training industry database, the whole industry's digital data warehouse.
With the view that investment in education is an investment in the future of the country, since 2014, Viettel has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education and Training, which accompanies the Ministry of Education and Training to deploy many IT application solutions for students. branch. The solutions deployed by Viettel have been contributing to shortening the educational gap between regions, so that Vietnamese students, whether in remote mountainous areas or islands, in the North or South poles of the country, enjoy a high-quality education.

Up to now, Viettel has applied IT to more than 25,000 schools to optimize management; coordinate training for nearly 1 million teachers under the new general program; support 26,000 schools to teach and learn online during the Covid 19 outbreak; installed free high-speed Internet to more than 32,000 schools nationwide and awarded more than 100,000 scholarships to poor, studious children. In particular, the largest learning social network in Southeast Asia built by Viettel called ViettelStudy has more than 11 million users at 25,700 educational institutions across the country.
Also in this event, Viettel proposed that the Ministry of Education and Training soon issue the government framework No. 2.0 for the industry and issue a legal framework to recognize learning results in the digital environment, officially applying the use of electronic school records.
In addition, the school management solution, the database solution for the preschool and general education sector was confirmed by the IT Department - the Ministry of Education and Training to meet the technical regulations on data and connection to the database of the education sector.
