Viettel Solutions, a member of Viettel Group, has been named a Top 10 winner at the IT World Awards 2022, the world's largest technology awards program. Viettel Solutions also won 5 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze awards for its digital transformation products and solutions.
Viettel Solutions' products and solutions were recognized by global experts for their technological capabilities and positive contributions to Vietnamese society and the world. This achievement puts Viettel on par with leading companies such as AttackIQ, BairesDev, Tek Leaders Inc, WatchGuard Technologies, Zyterb, etc.
In particular, Viettel Solutions won the Gold Award for Social Responsibility Program of the Year for its practical contributions to the healthcare and education sectors, which have made a positive impact on the national digital transformation strategy and improved the quality of life for citizens.
The second award is Gold Award for Customer Support Campaign/Service of the Year for the National COVID-19 Vaccination Platform and Electronic Health Record project. In a short period of time, Viettel Solutions completed the construction of the platform, providing strong support to over 22,000 vaccination centers, meeting the requirements of the Ministry of Health, and serving the largest vaccination campaign in Vietnamese history, with over 90 million vaccination subjects and 150 million doses administered. In addition, the hotline 19009095 received and answered over 10 million calls from July to December 2022, providing strong support for the success of the vaccination campaign.
Next, two Gold Awards in Video & Online Conferencing Solutions category for Viettel Meeting Platform (VMP) and IT Solutions for Transportation for ETC Backend center solution in IT solutions for traffic. These solutions were all developed by Viettel Solutions, demonstrating Viettel's technological capabilities to the world by their security, flexibility, ability to apply 4.0 technology, and ease of integration with other systems in the ecosystem. To date, the ETC Backend solution has been directly deployed at 35 toll stations and interconnected with 79 other toll stations, helping drivers to pass through toll stations 60 times faster than traditional methods. This has also helped the government to easily manage and make transparent the toll collection activities of BOT investors.
The fifth award is Gold Award for K12Online online learning and exam platform Best Technology Product to Combat and Reduce the Impact of COVID-19 category. The solution supported 400,000 teachers and 3.4 million students at 35,000 educational institutions across the country (accounting for 80%) throughout the social distancing period due to the Covid-19 pandemic. K12Online has built a huge database of 2.5 million learning materials, including lectures, tests, organized 4,000 online meetings, 600 online conferences, and 243,000 virtual classrooms. In less than a year, the system has reached 100 million visits. In addition, the Viettel Solutions Digital Education Ecosystem also won the Silver Award for IT Products and Services for Education.
Bronze Award for New Product/Service of the Year - Cloud/SaaS for Viettel Intelligent Collaboration Solutions (vICS), a new product in the Viettel Solutions digital solution ecosystem. vICS is a storage, synchronization, and document sharing system developed to meet the domestic market demand for intelligent online office products, and to advance towards global integration. By taking advantage of the benefits of building software on an open source platform, vICS can save customers' usage costs while ensuring network security.
With these successes at the world's largest technology competition, IT World Awards 2022, Viettel Solutions has once again affirmed its position as a leading technology company, providing services and digital transformation solutions for businesses and organizations. This is expected to bring efficiency to the national digital transformation effort, contributing to improving the quality of life for citizens.
